Project RC Life

DNA:
PRCL is a high performance therapeutic engine driven by a purebred Gen X operator. Born in '67, the same year The Stooges ignited punk rock, my worldview was forged in the grit of the 70s and 80s. I came of age when skateboarding and BMX weren't "lifestyle brands", they were public nuisances. I’ve carried that rebel label from the empty pools of my youth to the desert moto-x tracks of my young adulthood, and I carry it now into my late 50s.
Mission:
As a 100% disabled Infantry combat veteran, I deal with the "heavy hits" of service, neurodivergence, chronic pain, and memory deficits. PRCL is my Session Saver. It's a rigorous exercise in Cognitive Ergonomics, designed to bypass the friction of a broken short-term memory by codifying every maintenance interval, torque spec, and voltage parameter as its source code.
By outsourcing the burden of memory to self created physical documentation and the Horizon Hobby/Spektrum ecosystem, I create a scaffold for procedural recovery.Method:
The "Forever Crew", a 13 platform fleet anchored by 11 core ARRMA, Axial and Losi machines, serves as the instrument of my therapy. Adrenaline Therapy: High-speed sorties induce a flow state that shuts down hyper-vigilance and intrusive thoughts. Reliability Centered Maintenance: Precision bench-work provides the focus required to mitigate anxiety.
Supported by my wife of 26 years and our three French Bulldogs, I refuse to let a diagnosis define the man. The mission is simple: Maintain the fleet. Preserve the mind. "Be Good to Each Other."
